Networks of experts, industrial and academic partnerships, assistance in congresses and symposia and calls for proposals – these are some of the ways the AFM brings together competences on an international scale in order to promote the development of innovative therapies for rare and neuromuscular diseases. It has collaborated with more than 400 French and foreign partners to advance towards cure and the reduction of disability.

Calls for proposals

Each year the Association launches its own or joint calls for proposals in order to encourage research teams to work on the themes – understanding neuromuscular diseases and developing new therapeutics – that are of interest to the AFM.
