The AFM scientific council is composed of volunteer scientists and doctors who are recognised experts in their fields. Its role is to evaluate the scientific content of projects submitted to the AFM and to advise the Board of Directors, who makes the final decision. It also proposes possible research themes and makes a priori and a posteriori evaluations of the scientific quality of the projects. In particular, it advises during the evaluation of projects following Calls for Proposals.
