The George Karpati Symposium on Neuromuscular Diseases

The Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital will host the Karpati Symposium on Neuromuscular Disease: Innovation and Application as a tribute to the life and career of Dr. George Karpati (1934-2009) on Monday, May 10, 2010.  The symposium will bring together leaders in the field of neuromuscular disease, including Valerie Askanas, Stanley Appel, Andrew Engel, W. King Engel, Kevin Flanigan, R.C. Griggs, Hanns Lochmuller, Guy Rouleau, Eric Shoubridge and others. 

For the convenience of students and experts in the field who may plan to attend both, the Karpati Symposium will follow The Ottawa Conference on New Directions in Biology and Disease of Skeletal Muscle (May 5-8, 2010).
